it happened yesterday- we reached 100% of our monthly budget!! up until now it's just seemed surreal- like we were traveling around telling people we were going to Papua New Guinea so much that it became a story to tell...but now as i sit in a missionary appartment in Glen Ellyn, IL with So many friends to say goodbye to, it is REAL. We still have to travel to Wake Forest, NC to tell more dear friends goodbye...all of this is very strange for me, being emotionally warped and all,,,i would rather just disappear and show up again...we are trying extra hard {for the children} to have closure.
anyhow, we do still need $3,500 for one time start up cost [for language training etc.]
a big HUGE Thank You to all of you who have made monthly investments in our ministry!!!
i hope to update frequently, but with the travel, packing and overall craziness of large family living, it may get spotty for a while,,, LOVE and Blessings to you all...

sort of came across your blog randomly, but do you know Joy, a young 20-something also serving with Wycliffe in PNG? She's been there for almost 2yrs now and has had an amazing experience. Her blog is joyellen.wordpress.com. Anyway, best wishes for your trip & many blessings on you and your family!
