i tried to look up the equivalent of kapul, and apparently it is roughly translated, white marsupial... does it have a pouch? also found a website tokpisin.org thoguht it was interesting... <3 loot
ok, our dictionary says it is a tree wallaby. It is a little like an opossum except it is nice and calm and likes people. Ok so the thing that is like an opossum is its tail and its feet. It eats bannanas and other fruit. It also eats the new shoots of some trees. one of my friends here said it is the best PNG pets there is. aparently you can train it to do all sorts of stuff. He says they are very smart. He also said when it is grown that it will be the size of our 3 year old.

"Kapul" is a new one for me. Never seen nor heard of this animal. But I have to say it'a about as "cute" as a pug dog. Are pug dogs cute?

"size of a 3 year old" is still quite a bit smaller than some of the dogs in my neighborhood.
