preparations

We are moving along in our visa application process. it has been a very involved process. we will be wrapping that up with bloodwork for all of us next week and hopefully putting in the application soon. Please continue to pray for us as we prepare to make decisions on what to ship ahead. A shipping container is scheduled to depart from the JAARS center in May in order for it to make it  to Ukarumpa by August. The big question is ; do we assume that we will be there in August and ship some things (mostly the children's things- to help with transition) or be "on the safe side" and wait until we have more support? Its really hard to be up in the air not knowing if we should start giving everything away or keep it "in case" we don't make the deadline. We have 69%  of our monthly budget now so we are encouraged that we will make it- but then what if we give everything away and then we don't go until January?? decisions decisions...

Financial update 3 and an Invitation

The 1st month of Matt's CAM training is over with 2 months to go...he is enjoying it and learning so much.
With less than 5 months before our goal departure date we still have only 68.2% of our budget...Please continue to pray for us to reach 100% before then as we cannot even buy airplane tickets until we have 95% of our monthly budget met.

Our friends at Glendale Baptist Church, near Spartanburg, SC are having a fundraiser for our ministry this Saturday March 27. If you are in the area we would love for you to come down and enjoy a spaghetti dinner with us! If you need more information let me know... xoxo

Blast it

My camera is busted AGAIN... so you know what we are buying with our tax refund? A new one! i'm SO excited! this time i'm getting a real camera...one that i can take good photos of all our crazy travels with. this is the 3rd camera in 3 years that has broken...yikes. i am very very inspired right now to create so i hope i can hone my photography skills and improve the blog a bit...

anybody have advice on a good not too complicated camera??
